Settebre 2001. Un viaggio fatto in solidarieta' con i migranti detenuti a
Woomera. Durante questa visita la polizia antisommossa attacca i rifugiati con
cannoni ad acqua, lacrimogeni e bastoni per 20 venti minuti. In una situazione
che ricorda Davide contro Golia, alcuni rifugiati lanciano pietre contro le
forze dell'ordine. Allo stesso tempo 260 attivisti australiani, trattenuti a 200
metri di distanza, guardano impotenti questa orribile scena.

September 2001. A trip is made in solidarity with asylum seekers in the woomera
detention centre. During the visit riot police attack the refugees with water
cannons, tear gas and batons for over 20 minutes. In a David vs Golliath
situation some refugees throw stones at the forces of order. Meanwhile 260
Australian activists, kept back by the state police, watch horrified from about
200 metres distance.
